  • Start in a plank position, firmly grounding both hands directly beneath your shoulders and keeping your feet close together to form a straight line from crown to heel.

  • Descend to the point just prior to your shoulder blades protracting, keeping them firmly squeezed together and downwards at all times.
  • Inhale deeply as you forcefully push off the floor until your arms are almost fully extended, reach one hand over to the opposite shoulder and hold a steadfast plank position – ribs tucked in, back arched neither too far nor too little, and hips rock-steady.
  • Ease back down with care before repeating the exercise on the opposite arm.
